Camp Rock cutie Meaghan Martin just received some exciting news and popped in on her official MySpace to tell everyone! Check out what the 17-year-old actress had to say:"Thank you to those of you who wished me a happy birthday! That is so unbelievably sweet and thoughtful of you. I had a great 17th birthday, I spent the day at Disneyland with most of my family and my best friend. It was rainy at first, but the rest of the day was absolutely beautiful. We rode 26 rides!! hahahahaha, we're crazy, but it was truly great.
"Also, thank you to everyone for such positive feedback about the ‘When You Wish Upon A Star' music video, I'm glad that some of you enjoy it. If it can make just one person bop their head or tap their toes then I am an insanely happy human being.
"Now last but not least… 10 Things I Hate About You, the TV show I'm working on has been picked up for 10 episodes to air on ABC Family this summer!! I'm ecstatic and sooooo pumped for you to see this. The cast is all so hilarious and the writing is great. I'm a huge fan of the original movie and I'm happy to say that we in no way try to replicate or "be” the movie, we are simply approaching a similar story, with similar characters in a totally new way. I can't wait for this to air and I hope you all laugh your heads off while watching!

Following the success of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," the cable network has picked up three new female-oriented series, comedies "Ruby and the Rockits" and "10 Things I Hate About You" and drama "Perfect 10." All three have received 10-episode orders.Additionally, ABC Family has renewed college dramedy "Greek" for a third season and black family drama "Lincoln Heights" for a fourth season with 10-episode pickups, while canceling 3-year-old sci-fi mystery "Kyle XY."
Pending is the renewal of smash hit "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," the size of whose order is still being determined.
Based on the feature of the same name, "10 Things I Hate About You" is a single-camera comedy about the Stratford sisters -- the strong-willed Kat (Lindsey Shaw) and social butterfly Bianca (Meaghan Jette Martin).
Carter Covington penned and exec produces the series, whose pilot was directed by the film's helmer, Gil Junger.
"Ruby and the Rockits," from ABC Studios, is a multicamera comedy from the Cassidy brothers: David, Shaun and Patrick. It stars Patrick Cassidy as a former teen idol who has chosen to lead a quiet life with his wife and two sons. But when his former Rockits bandmate and brother (David Cassidy) shows up unexpectedly with his newfound teenage daughter (Alexa Vega) in tow, the family's life becomes anything but normal.
"Invasion" creator Shaun Cassidy and Marsh McCall exec produce.
Set in the world of competitive gymnastics, "Perfect 10" stars "Frasier" alumna Peri Gilpin and follows a group of teen Olympic hopefuls as they train and prepare for their day in the spotlight. The hourlong drama was written by Holly Sorensen, who exec produces.

"After New York, I went to LA to do some stuff for Build-A-Bear, and there were 2 other talented girls. One of them was named Meaghan [Jette Martin], who I believe was in Camp Rock. The other girl was named Jamia, and she was the little girl in August Rush! I remember watching Jamia actually on Showtime at the Apollo and Jay Leno when she was 7, so it was so cool! haha. I was blown away by her then, and I am blown away by her now. She was full of energy, and was hilarious too."Meaghan's "dream guy"
